Biography

Born on December 1, 1985 I was the second out of five children. I grew up in a small town in New Jersey, where I lived for over twenty years. In my preteen days, I wrote a lot of poetry and even attempted to pen a song or two. Always writing for the joy and relief it brought me.

When I reached High School, I wrote a lot less and the only time I would read was for a school assignment. Thankfully, one of those times I picked up a book written by Raymond E. Feist. To my surprise, I came to find that I actually loved it and quickly grabbed up other novels of his. Then, my friend introduced me to the work of Terry Goodkind and it only helped to solidify my love for fantasy. Thankfully, my study hall was conveniently held in the library and I read all that I could.

In 2004 I graduated High School, with honors, and still hadn't decided what to do with my life. There were so many options, but nothing seemed right for me.

In 2005, I began to toss around the idea of writing my own novel. Without a doubt, I knew it would be a fantasy novel. So, I began to brainstorm, jotting down illegible ideas in a notebook. Soon my novel began to take shape. Back then, I had no idea what I was doing, I just wrote.

Slowly, people pointed things out to me and clued me in on some of the writing do's and don'ts. Even after finishing my first book, Foreseen, and trying to learn all I can, I still know very little about the art of writing, but as the days go by, I am learning more and more.

When I began writing I wrote for myself, for the pleasure of creating a magical world like the ones I lost myself in when I read Feist or Goodkind. After months of continuously discussing my novel, my family began to insist that I try and publish it when I was finished. At first, I just brushed the idea aside, but after a while the thought began to grow on me.

So, now my hopes are to one day find an agent and get my novels published. Until then, I am just a normal person trying to write good, entertaining books like thousands of other people around the world. To achieve this, I will need some luck, perseverance, and a whole lot of talent. And to anyone else wishing the same thing for their future, I wish you good luck!
