My site is moving to KatieRunyon.com and I will probably be creating a new blog, but will make sure to transfer all of my old posts over. So sometime in the next few days, my site should be up and running. Hopefully you will check it out.

It’s been a little while since I’ve posted and I figured I’d get another one in-even though no one probably looks at this. I haven’t actually been working on my story, but I have been technically working towards finishing my book. I have realized that sitting in my gloomy room at my computer for a few minutes at a time doesn’t work too well. I have been using a notebook so I can write in other rooms, away from my computer. The problem with this is that after I am done writing for a bit I need to type it all up. I hate wasting that time doing that and so, with the help of my boyfriend, I found a solution. I am getting a laptop. This way I can just quickly transfer it to my desktop computer or even just keep it all on my laptop. This will help me save time and energy that could be better spent. So while we have been searching I haven’t actually been doing any writing, but I have been doing some reading. I bought Terry Goodkind’s new book Phantom. Of course there were parts that were a little slow for my liking, but the last half or so was very enjoyable.

Since I am hoping I can wait for my laptop before I continue writing my current novel, I felt like I needed to do at least something a little productive. So I have begun to make notes for the sequel to my current novel. Nothing real in-depth, but it’ll hopefully help move things along quicker when I get to it. Even though I am a ways away from starting my second novel, I am looking forward to it. My first novel has so far been a great learning experience and I hope that all the things I learn are able to be greatly useful in making my second book even better.

Wow, I was beginning to think I would never get that chapter finished. This seemed to be the hardest chapter for me to wrap my head around and finish. I swear I cursed myself by writing my previous post. The next chapter should be a little easier. I threw in a few surprises, even for myself. Once I got towards the last few pages the ideas flowed a little easier, thank god. Now that the weekend is coming up, I get to start my next chapter. I can’t take any breaks, got a novel to finish. So far I am more or less on track; I guess we’ll have to see how I do on time with this next chapter.

I’ve been thinking about once I am done with my story the money I am going to have to shell out for paper and ink. My story will probably use a full ink cartridge and pack of paper. I plan on trying to just print one copy out for now to send to my grandparents and then try to just send everyone else’s through e-mail. I’ll have to see how everything works out once I am totally done with my manuscript.

Another exciting Friday has come and (almost) gone. Next weekend I have a wedding to attend (no, not mine), hopefully that will mix things up a bit. Wow, I’m living now (sarcasm if you couldn’t tell). Well off to zone out and watch some TV. Until next time.
