I haven’t posted anything lately because there hasn’t really been anything to post. Today though, I was able to work on my 14th chapter and now I only have about 5 more pages to edit before I can finish writing the chapter. I am going to try to work on it more tonight, but I don’t know if I will get it all done. I should get the editing done before I leave next Thursday. After this one, there should be about 6-10 more chapters to write. These last few pages of this chapter need less editing since they are the most recent. My hopes are to complete the chapter by the end of the month and within 6 months have the complete first draft completed. Don’t hold me to anything though; I tend to be bad with keeping goals that I set for myself. I will try to push myself to finish since I can’t wait for it to be completed/edited/finished and hand it off to other people to read. If nothing else, that is what I want from this, for as many people as possible to read my story. Of course, I want everyone to enjoy it, but that is asking too much. Well I should get working. Well I didn’t get to chapter 14 until today, and the little I did was only a few pages worth. Things never go as I plan them, but what can you do? I hope that by the end of this week I will have the few pages of chapter 14 edited and then I can finish writing it. Don’t worry if my writing system seems a little strange to you, that’s because it is. I just felt it was necessary after such a long break, to go back through and get myself all caught up again while fixing my story to include the things I have learned.

In other news, it seems as though towards the end of the month I will be going on vacation with my grandmother to Canada. I have never been there and it should be a fun experience. We might be staying in the Niagara Falls area, which seems to offer a lot for visitors to do. From some quick research, it seems that the only castle in Canada is also somewhere in the area (but I could be wrong. I don’t know if we will be able to go, but I have always wanted to visit a real castle. I also have a strange fascination with moths/butterflies/caterpillars, so we might visit the butterfly conservatory. We will probably stay for a week and won’t get much in the way of writing done, but I will bring all the necessary tools just in case.
