Well, I finally got around to working on chapter 15 and I actually got somewhere. I only got a couple pages done (double-spaced), but I’m hoping to do more today. Mostly I was working on ideas and whatnot for the chapter and since most of the important details for the chapter were ironed out, I could get to actually writing the chapter. I’m probably going to add something to the beginning, but at least I’m writing.

Not much else going on around here, except for the usual craziness. My suitcase and travel bag are still sitting on my floor with a few things in it, I haven’t felt like cleaning them out and putting them away (Yeah, you can say I’m lazy). My cat Caleb, who is a few months old now, is keeping me awake by suckling on my blanket. The problem is that he HAS to suckle on the part that is right under my chin. Making his whiskers tickle my face and then he tends to knead my face with his paw. I read there is pretty much a 50% chance he’ll get over it as he grows older, but I hope he at least learns to go to another part of the blanket. I can’t close him out of my room at night though, because he hates being closed away from me and cries until I open the door.

My mom has come up for a good nickname for my VERY large cat. So we now call her “Orca” instead of “Rina” (short for Serena). It fits her very well since she has a black back and white underbelly and is very overweight. I’m trying to keep her food consumption down, but it doesn’t seem to be helping much.

I hope that I’ll have something more exciting to write in the near future, and not some lame stuff a month later like this time. Of course, I hope my next post is about me finishing chapter 15, but at my slow pace, it’s not probable.
