Well according to my last post, it’s been 3 months since I’ve last posted. Time seems to be slipping by me without me noticing. It’s funny how my last post said that I didn’t want another month to go by without posting..when in reality, I let 3 months go by without posting. I guess that shows how exciting my life is. I guess I’ll give a little update on my book, which unfortunately hasn’t had a whole lot done to it. I have almost finished chapter 15, I’m hoping to finish it sometime this week. As you might be aware, my hopes usually don’t come out the way I planned. The chapter has come a long way though, since my last post. It has evolved and even introduced a new character that is going to be one of the main characters in the group. I was excited about trying to get people to read my first draft, but after reading the whole thing to my brother, I decided it is definitely not ready to be glimpsed upon, even by my very close family. Nevertheless, it got me writing again and for that, I am thankful. Of course, it didn’t last long and I have yet to open up word in the last few days to finish the damn thing. I have, for the most part, figured out, vaguely, the details of the chapter. For inspiration, I re-read Phantom by Terry Goodkind since his new book Confessor just came out. I wanted to refresh my memory of what happened in the last new so I wasn’t in the dark when I finally get to open the book and start reading.

Along with getting close to finishing chapter 15, I also finally put in all the edits from chapter 14 that I never got around to doing. However, I doubt any of you would blame me, who wants to go through 14 pages of text that you already edited on paper and then edit in word.

Home life hasn’t changed all that much. Joe(my stepfather) lost his left leg from diabetes and should be getting his new leg(prosthetic) very soon. After he gets it, he should be more mobile than he had been in the last few years. In the end, it’s better and hopefully now he can stay out of the hospital for more than a week. My little kitty, Caleb, also lost a little something since my last post…he was neutered.

So I have no clue when the next time I’m going to post is, but I will try my best to make it a little sooner than 3 months(which would make it mid February).
