I was looking into the trouble I’ve been having bridging my gallery and forum and came across a problem. My gallery database was not placed on my server with the rest of my databases. For some reason it seemed to have been placed on a public server. I emailed GoDaddy about it to see how I can access it, etc. About 12 hours later, I finally received a reply. The email pretty much said that the database had been deleted and for them to restore it, it would cost me $150. Of course, I was not pleased when I heard this. There was no way I was going to pay them $150, especially for something that seems to be their fault. Then I got to thinking. My gallery was working fine and if the database was deleted, that would create some problems. Therefore, it seems that it’s not possible that the database was deleted since the gallery is running just fine. I emailed them back stating that fact and asking why the database was placed on that server in the first place. It has almost been 48hrs and I have still not heard back from them and I doubt I will. Therefore, I’ve decided to create my own database on my server and install the gallery over again. The pictures will all be back up and hopefully the transfer will go smoothly. Might be a little buggy or down for a little while, so please be patient. I hope that after this, the bridge will work seamlessly.

Chapter 11 is up on FictionPress for those who want to read the latest chapter. By the end of this month, I’m hoping to have chapters 1-15 online. After that, it will take much longer to get anything up, since 15 is the last completed chapter. Chapter 16 only consists of three pages right now and there’s no telling how long I’ll be in completing it, but I won’t be working on it until I go through the remaining chapters. Nevertheless, keep checking back for the latest and I’d be ecstatic if you reviewed it or even added my story or me to your favorites list if you have an account on FictionPress.
