Wow, the week seemed to go by fast. Thankfully, it wasn’t too fast that I wasn’t able to finish the bits I need to get chapter 18 complete and up on my site. And of course, it is there for those who would like to read it. Now there is only 4 more chapters to go and most of the details for the next chapter are already fleshed out. So come Monday, I should have a nice head start.

Of course, all of this is dependent upon my new addiction Evony not getting in the way. I figured by now I would have either lost interest or been annihilated by a bigger/better player. Since I haven’t, it seems to take up a bit more time than I’d like. But on the days when I have nothing better to do, it’s not so bad.

Well, I hope everyone has stocked up on some toilet paper and eggs, as I’m sure they’ll be in short supply! And of course, I hope everyone has a safe and happy Halloween. Except here in PA, where lots of towns don’t actually trick-or-treat on Halloween and the ones that do only allow it between certain times in the very early afternoon. How un-Halloweenish!

I just spent the last few days changing my blog and news archives over from Nucleus. I did it all manually, since I didn’t trust something else to do it for me. That and I needed to read through them so I could label the posts with different categories. At least I’ve never really been much of a blogger! I lost a few comments, but I think it was worth it. It should at least make adding new blog posts and news updates a tad easier. And every once in a while, I like working on my site.

Even though I’ve found myself working on this thing until 4am, I still made sure to keep myself caught up with the latest episodes of my favorite shows. Which is far too many by anyone’s count. (No wonder I’m not getting any writing done!) I probably have around 2 dozen shows to watch in a given week, which is pretty embarrassing and indicative of my social life. I’m sure it doesn’t help that I even find myself watching shows from Britain. Though, there are only really two I watch from over there.  Merlin and Primeval. After 3 seasons (which are shorter there than they are here) the latter was canceled, but has now been renewed for two more seasons. Unfortunately, those new episodes won’t air until 2011. Both shows have shown on American TV. Primeval was (is?) airing episodes on SyFy. NBC aired the first season of Merlin last fall. Still, not being aired on American TV doesn’t stop me from watching it!

As far as other things go, not much to say. Maybe I’ll be able to get some more writing done there will be more to say next time!

Having finished chapter 17 of what I plan to be a 22 chapter book, I’m feeling good. Only 5 more chapters to go! The closer to the end that I get, the more excited I become. This book has come along much faster than my first, which I am grateful for. And I can’t wait to finish it. Having another book finished leaves only one more to go. While I plan on trying to leave it open to expand, afterward (other than editing) I will be moving on to something else. What that is yet, I have no idea. But for now, I am able to totally devote myself to my Elementi Series. Finishing the first book felt great, but somehow this is even bigger. Having two full novels under my belt just seems so much better! I think this time is different because not only was it a more continuous effort, but I’m getting closer to finishing a series (trilogy) instead of just one book.

If I haven’t said this before, this second novel will not wrap up this storyline. Instead, it will lead to something even bigger. I should probably stop here, so in my excitement I don’t give too much away. Sorry, but this post is going to jump around a bit since my brain is so scattered.

So, I can hope that in 5 more weeks, I will have another complete draft. As for the third book, the title is likely to change since the focus of that novel is going to switch a little. I will still include the storyline I was planning on before, but there will just be a whole new element that I hadn’t thought of before.
